Lactation Management Services’ mission is to provide state of the art education, clinical care and support to families, health professionals, businesses and government organizations.  Our goal is to help the mother-baby dyad enjoy a comfortable, enjoyable feeding relationship while at the same time providing the best possible nutrition and health outcomes for the both the infant and mother.

Individual and group educational classes are offered including:

• Nutrition During Pregnancy and Lactation, 
• Breastfeeding 101—Getting Off to a Good Start, and
• Back to Work While Breastfeeding.

Individual counseling practice helps mothers and their infants overcome clinical feeding challenges during the newborn period such as:

• Transitioning an infant discharged from the NICU bottle-feeding to breastfeeding at home,
• Infants who are having difficulty latching on to the breast,
• Comfortable latch for the mother,
• Milk supply issues,
• Growth issues,
• Infants with gastric reflux, colic, allergies or intolerances, and
• Starting solid foods. 

LMS’s corporate programs can be customized to your company’s needs.  Components may include lactation room set up, equipment needs, and policy recommendations, group or individual classes or employee support programs.

LMS’s professional mentor programs include clinical supervision for IBCLC candidates and training seminars.
